By installing or using Next Recorder, you accept and agree to these Terms. If you access Next Recorder on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Next Recorder is a browser extension that enables users to capture screenshots, record screen activity with optional camera and microphone input, edit captured content, and share recordings. We provide both free and premium subscription tiers with varying feature access. Our service is designed for individual professionals, small teams, and enterprise organizations seeking to enhance productivity through visual communication.
To access certain features of Next Recorder, you must create an account using your Google credentials. When registering, you agree to:

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, NextSense Solutions FZC LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Next Recorder for your personal or internal business purposes during your subscription period.

All recordings are processed locally on your device. We do not automatically transmit your recordings to external servers. You can revoke these permissions through your browser settings at any time, though this will limit functionality.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Next Recorder complies with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes but is not limited to:
NextSense Solutions FZC LLC assumes no liability for your failure to obtain required consents or comply with applicable recording laws.
You retain all ownership rights to recordings, screenshots, and edited content you create using Next Recorder. We claim no ownership over your content and will not access, view, or use your recordings except as specified in these Terms.
When you use our sharing features or cloud storage integrations, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to transmit and temporarily process your content solely for the purpose of delivering the service you've requested. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.
You may not use Next Recorder to create, store, or share content that:
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms and may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in repeated violations.
Next Recorder offers integrations with third-party services including Trello, Slack, Asana, Jira, and other productivity tools. These integrations are subject to the respective third party's terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, security, functionality, or data practices of third-party services. When you enable an integration, you authorize us to exchange data with that service on your behalf according to the permissions you've granted.
Next Recorder offers free and paid subscription plans with different feature sets and usage limits. Current pricing is available on our website. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically for each billing cycle until you cancel. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You remain responsible for charges incurred during your subscription period even if you don't actively use the service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable consumer protection laws. If you believe you were incorrectly charged, contact our support team within 14 days.
All prices exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, GST, or other indirect taxes imposed by your jurisdiction.
Next Recorder, including its software, user interface, design elements, logos, and documentation, is owned by NextSense Solutions FZC LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United Arab Emirates and international treaties. The "Next Recorder" name and logo are trademarks of NextSense Solutions FZC LLC. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid copyright infringement notices. If you believe content created or shared using Next Recorder infringes your copyright, submit a written notice to our designated agent including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) description of the infringing material and its location, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. NEXT RECORDER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT NEXT RECORDER WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES REGARDING RECORDING QUALITY, COMPATIBILITY WITH ALL BROWSERS OR OPERATING SYSTEMS, OR PRESERVATION OF YOUR CONTENT.
You acknowledge that browser extensions are subject to browser updates and platform changes beyond our control, which may temporarily affect functionality. You are responsible for maintaining backup copies of important recordings stored locally on your device.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEXTSENSE SOLUTIONS FZC LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF NEXT RECORDER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR REPUTATIONAL HARM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO NEXT RECORDER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NextSense Solutions FZC LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of Next Recorder, (b) content you create or share, (c) your violation of these Terms, (d) your violation of any law or regulation, or (e) your violation of any third-party rights including intellectual property or privacy rights.
You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the extension and contacting our support team. We may suspend or terminate your access to Next Recorder immediately without prior notice if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk. Upon termination, your license to use Next Recorder ends, though certain provisions of these Terms (including indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Next Recorder at any time without liability. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paid features when possible. We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the service with at least 30 days notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using Next Recorder and may cancel your subscription for a prorated refund if applicable.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the regulations of the Ajman Free Zone, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Before initiating formal dispute resolution proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@nextrecorder.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good faith efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) in accordance with its rules. The arbitration will be conducted in English in Dubai, UAE. Each party bears its own costs and fees unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court for intellectual property infringement or violation of confidentiality obligations without first engaging in arbitration.
If you are located in the European Union, you have certain rights under EU consumer protection laws that may not be limited by these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as an EU consumer.
You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to US embargo or designated as supporting terrorism. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NextSense Solutions FZC LLC regarding Next Recorder and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to you.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet service failures, or government actions.
